Welcome to 4th grade! I have been teaching for 26 years and have spent the last 6 teaching 4th grade! My students are very enthusiastic learners and come from very diverse backgrounds! I love to see my students get excited about new concepts; especially the students who, at times, seem quiet and reserved. My school is unique in the fact that our district has only one elementary, one middle and one high school all located on the same campus so I have the pleasure of seeing many of my former students. This is super rewarding because I get to be a part of their successes for many years. I love to challenge all of my students, as well as have them think outside of the box. I try to incorporate hands on learning in my classroom as much as possible because the students learn and retain so much more when they are actively involved in their learning.
