My students are in High School and come from many diverse backgrounds. When they walk into my art room they have a desire inside them to create but tend to hesitate with creating and I believe it is because we just have simple desks in the classroom. I am trying to turn the classroom into an art studio type classroom for them so that when they create they can feel to their fullest potential what it is like to paint/draw like as an artist does in his/her art studio.
