There are many benefits of reading but the most important one of all is that it's fun! I want my students to get lost in a book, wait eagerly for the next book in a series, read way past their bedtimes, and connect with characters. As an English Language Arts teacher, we teach formal reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills. While these skills are important, it is just as important to develop the love for reading for fun. I want to help my students to develop the same love for books as I do! Please help us build our classroom library! Thank you!
