I teach at a Title I school in a resource classroom, mostly 3-6 graders, who struggle with reading, fluency, accuracy, and comprehension. My students also struggle with writing opinion, narrative, persuasive, and informational essays. Even writing a complete sentence at times is a struggle. Basic math skills are challenging, yet are growing each day with Math Talk and discoveries of patterns and exploration. I love coming to work on a daily basis and seeing the sparkle in their eyes when they finally learn something they have been struggling with.
