Clay is an amazing natural resource that provides student the ability to put so many important skills into practice. We have not been able to use clay in the art room for a couple of years because of classroom relocation, so this would be the first time some students have experienced this. It makes me so excited to think about sharing this with them! Working with clay is wonderful for developing motor skills and it also provides sensory stimulation. this medium is also very good for immediate visual feedback as students can quickly see their ideas come to life right in front of them!
