My students often come to my class with a fear of writing. Through journaling and creative writing I am able to expose students to the writer inside of them. One of the key pieces that gets students excited about writing is the sharing of their writing. Not only do students love to share orally in class but they also love to share their writing with their peers and with me. The Rocketbook Notebooks will allow students to share with me, their classmates, and their parents with the scan of a page. The tactile part of writing, the pencil to paper, is an integral part of the writing process and one that I emphasize with my students. Using the Rocketbooks in my class will allow students to still have the tactile part of the writing process, but will then allow the students journals to be shared with ease. Students will journal in the Rocketbook notebooks using the FriXon pens and then will share their files to their Google drive. Students that do not have phones will be able to use the Samsung tablet to share their writing to the Cloud.
