Disciplined, goal-oriented, conscientious, motivated, and thirsty for knowledge are just a few characteristics of my students. They like to take control of the lesson and to dig deeper into the content by asking higher-order questions and conducting individual research. Being like a giant melting pot, our school services three high schools in the surrounding area. Our goal is to prepare students for life after high school. Simply put, we want them to be college and/or career ready. This is accomplished through a rigorous and demanding curriculum, emphasizing real-life problems and situations. Students must always be ready to utilize their critical thinking and problem solving skills. Besides the traditional lecture, our school goes above and beyond to ensure that students also achieve on-the-job training through field experience opportunities. Students leave high school with a deep understanding of what is required of them on the job and how to approach any problem they come across.
