With the current pandemic and hybrid model for learning, the novels will be given to each student. The majority of 7th and 8th graders are online learners with no access to books or resources at home. With this project being funded, each student will have their own copy of the novel, assignments, and readings to complete before in-class discussions. The novels will assist with the novel study and teaching the various state standards through the novel. The students will also do a report at the end of the novel and make personal connections, describe the characters conflicts, as well as how the character evolved over time.
