My students are crazy about science! With this project, they will handle, examine, and investigate real life bug specimens. In addition, they will witness the full life cycle of butterflies! They will gain appreciation of nature and we will learn how to respect all the creatures of the earth. Science Standards fulfilled: • Make observations of plants and animals to compare the diversity of life in different habitats • Plan and conduct an investigation collaboratively to produce data to serve as the basis for evidence to answer a question. • Make observations (firsthand or from media) and/or measurements to collect data that can be used to make comparisons. • Make predictions based on prior experiences.
