Hello! My name is Tera Mitchell and I just started my 8th year of teaching. All eight years have been spent in Kindergarten and I feel privileged to be one of the first people to open children's eyes to the fun and excitement that learning brings. There is nothing quite like seeing that spark in a child's eye when they discover something or have their first "a-ha" moment. It is amazing to create and facilitate learning opportunities that students carry with them for a lifetime. Teaching is so much more than a job-it is a calling, a passion, and a way to make a difference in the lives of all students. I have been given many titles, but the title of "teacher" will always be one of my favorite.
