My students are very active students. They like to move around constantly and collaborate with peers. Like most first graders, it is hard for them to stay sitting in one place for long periods of time. I strongly believe that offering comfortable options for seating will help students with their attention spans and behavior issues. I want them to have the option to sit comfortably and feel motivated to give their best in school. It is impressive to see the difference when students pick their own spots to work and team up with their peers. This project will offer my students the ability to move around and sit comfortably using wobble chairs and bean bag seats to focus, listen better, and interact with their classmates while they work together.
