I have the privilege of working with 6 amazing boys and girls who are on the Autism spectrum. All of my students are curious and eager to learn. Most importantly, they are interested in books. My hope is that by having a variety of books that are appropriate for their reading level, I can continue to foster their love of literature and help them build independence by learning to select books that they can read by themselves ("Just Right" texts) as well as books they can reading with assistance (Guided Reading books).

About my class
