I teach in an Intergraded Co-Teaching classroom where 8 of the students are special needs out of 25 students. 80% of our students are English Language Learners. All of our students are first generation Americans primarily from China, Ecuador, and Mexico. Our school is located in an underserved area of Queens. It is a title 1 school, located in a low socioeconomic neighborhood. We have more than 2,000 students in the school, grades K-5.
