Half of my day my role is a 2nd grade Chinese immersion teacher, which means I teach my students Chinese language arts, math, science, and social studies in Chinese. The other half of the day, I am a Chinese second language teacher for 5th and 6th grade students. Since the elementary and middle school campuses are separate, I commute between the two places everyday. The commute is really close. I really enjoy teaching Chinese language to my kids. It's a fun and rewarding experience. You will be amazed at how quickly kids learn a language in an immersion setting.
