My students are little miracles! They come to school daily, with a smile on their face and eager to learn, despite the challenges that they left at home. Our school resides in an extremely low income area, and the majority of our class is living in single family homes. Only a third of my students brought any supplies to school. Yet, my little bundles of energy can't wait to get to school to see what awaits them. They eagerly soak up all of the learning opportunities presented to them, unaware that they have less than students in neighboring districts. They are enthusiastic, energetic, and bring a smile to my face daily! I am so incredibly lucky to be their teacher!
