Aloha! I am the teacher for the Alternative Learning Center at Molokai High School. The computers shown in this picture are no longer in our classroom, they were were borrowed from Kualapuu Elementary School and have been returned. The program needs laptop computers to assist with math tutorials, Achieve3000 (reading comprehension), research in social studies, language arts and science, and to access Google Apps For Education. The program helps those students who have struggled and failed in mainstream classes and need an individualized curriculum that still provides rigorous academic content. These disadvantaged students need all the help they can get. I am looking to purchase 10 Chromebooks and a management console. This will allow our classroom community to remain fully contained, while opening up cross-curricular learning opportunities that would otherwise not be available. Mahalo for your support!
