Our school is a Title I school, with many of my students on free and reduced lunches. Most don't even have the basic materials to get through class on a daily basis. Which is where my own money goes, to making sure each child has crayons, markers, scissors, pencils, and paper. But even though these students don't have a lot of material things, they do have a lot of drive and enthusiasm to learn. My kiddos have a desire to learn and a passion for science that I have not seen before. Each day they come in eager for our next experiment, ready to dive right in.

About my class
