My students are a wonderful 3rd grade class. They have a love of learning. Many of my students come from homes where English is not their native language. While they are eager to learn, students have difficulty comprehending due to English not being their native language. A listening center will help them hear stories and words from sources other than in a educational or social setting, and will reinforce the language skills taught to them every day.
