I teach 20 amazing second grade students in a Title One school. They come in every morning ready and willing and excited to learn. And, they truly have a thirst for knowledge. However, our funding has been greatly reduced despite the needs of the students being increased. The funding we do receive is not enough to hire teachers to help with one-on-one instruction or even small group instruction, and it doesn't allow for new technology to be purchased to enhance their learning experience. The students could benefit from having these tablets to really grow as readers!!
