Our vision as a DL program is to challenge and foster our majority Latinx student population through culturally sustaining educational experiences both inside the classroom and out in our community. We can't do it without you and for this reason, we humbly ask you to help fund this experience. This year, we will attend two trips to Portland Center Stage to attend "Frida...A Self Portrait" in the fall and "Freestyle Love Supreme" in the spring. Our school is providing transportation, we are asking students to pay ten dollars, and we are hoping to use this grant to fund chaperone tickets and scholarships to students who cannot pay the requested fee. Thank you for considering!
