I'm very excited to take part in this exciting adventure. The students I teach are very special and dear to my heart. They have a heart of gold and a mind that's willing to obtain all there is to offer.Only 1/3 of the community is literate and 99% of the students receive free lunch. With that being said the students lack the technological resources needed to compete in today's society. Even though we view these things as the norm my students don't have the opportunity nor the means to utilize such items. I currently have a total of 2 desktop computers which is shared among 22 students. Having these items in the classroom will help increase the students learning ability and give me a sense of relief that each child is given an opportunity to utilize technology. It will give me great joy if you would support my classroom by bringing IPads and warranties to the classroom so that I can enhance my teaching options.
