Many students have limited access to technology at home and minimal parental support. They enter fifth grade extremely below grade level, and need extra support and scaffolding. These students are eager to learn and love to be exposed to new materials and lessons. Most students in my classroom and the district as a whole are of low economic status and overly appreciate anything new they are exposed to in the classroom. Our middle school consists of fifth and sixth graders. There are four inclusion classrooms within each grade level. We utilize a co-teaching model in those classrooms.
