Welcome! My students are eager learners! These materials will aid students in learning the foundation of English. The dictionaries will allow them to be able to communicate effectively in social and instructional instances. These materials will allow the students to be more engaged in content areas. It will help the students bridge a gap between language and content. The picture dictionaries and/or native language to English dictionaries will enable the students to activate their prior knowledge and help them make connections with concepts. By providing the ELLs with these tools, they will become more independent and pro-active learners. They will be able to take the learning of English in their own hands, literally!
