Please help support our special education class! I teach students with moderate to severe disabilities who range in age from 16-22. My classroom curriculum is primarily focused on basic life and functional skills with a large emphasis on transition. It is my obligation to ensure my students are best prepared for life after high school and in doing so, I spend a lot of time helping students to generalize skills to their natural environments. We do this through weekly Community Based Instruction and as many hands-on, realistic opportunities as possible.
