I am requesting air conditioners for three classrooms at my school. Our rooms are hot! It is challenging for students to learn when it is really too warm. After recess students are sweating, panting and fanning themselves and this becomes a major distraction. They have problems focusing/concentrating when they are uncomfortable. The air conditioners would help keep the climate bearable, as well as, conducive to learning. These air conditioners can be used for many years to come. Each spring and fall for a few months, the weather can be unpredictable. This spring, we had days over 102 degrees in June. Having the air conditioners would assist in keeping the learning environment pleasant in the classroom for students.
