I am Mrs. Fugett and teach Preschool/Kindergarten in Indianapolis. I teach at a Public Montessori school as part of the Indianapolis Public School System. All my students qualify for free lunch and free book rental. The school is located in a high poverty/crime area. The children are so wonderful and want to learn. Many of them come to school for the first time without any prior formal education are below grade level. They are like sponges and quickly absorb things that are being taught. They do not have a lot of resources and I spend my own money on things for the room weekly. There are things I would love to have for my class that I just can't afford and am seeking donors to help me provide necessities and enrichment materials.
