My students are renaissance folks with interests in academics, athletics, and arts. I teach Creative Writing to painters, captains of the football team, actors, members of the Quiz Bowl team, and a boatload of other wonderful individuals who want to explore what it's like to express themselves on the page. Writing isn't their primary interest, but they're excited to explore different kinds of texts than they've read before in academic classes.
