The students at Tijerina Elementary are wonderful kids with so much enthusiasm for learning: PE, physical activities and sports. They are eager to learn about how they can have a healthy life style and how to be active throughout their whole life. After Hurricane Harvey, we felt as thou we had been side-lined because there was a sense of uncertainty of how the students were going to get through their personal situations at home, while our school was needing some repairs, but these kids are resilient and are getting back to a place of normalcy. The equipment I am requesting is to give the students a sense of hope and community. I hope that my students will learn the valuable lesson or helping others and of service to others. I hope that they will help others in future as they were help in their young lives.
