Students will choose a person from the Who Was book series. They will then read about and research their chosen person. Students will take on the persona of their person. Each grade level is required to participate in at least one showcase during the school year. Students will use the books to create a living museum for their parent/ community showcase. Audience members at the "museum" will come tour the museum. Each student will design a button. When a museum guest pushes their button, the student comes alive and talks about their person. The students will also be dressed as their chosen person.
