My classroom represents a diverse group of learners. I have dominant English language learners and a larger minority of students with learning disabilities and special needs.Our school is a Title I school and we have a 79% total of students who qualify for Free/Reduced lunch. My students are hard workers despite the hardships they face on a daily basis, and have dreams to attend accredited state universities and obtain future careers. My students are bright, charismatic and have a strong willingness to learn from challenges that lie in their path. As their teacher, I learn from them everyday and reflect on my practice to enhance their skills for achieving the rigorous expectations and standards of 21st century learning.
