Each student will possess a personal SEL toolkit in which they learn to utilize for self-regulation. During the pandemic our students have missed utilizing the physical class' peace area. We are offering all students an opportunity to utilize these tools to aid them when they are feeling anxious, worried, scared or even upset. The school counselor and classroom teacher will model how to use these tools. The students will then have their own toolkit that they can utilize at any time. Students that are learning remotely will also have their own toolkit. It is an opportunity for everyone to learn the importance of self-regulation in this pandemic and more.
