I have a unique opportunity this year. I have a student that was given to the State and placed in a group home. It takes great patience as a teacher, but the experience for my class to help teach this student has been priceless. Teaching him to tie his shoes, helping him learn to play wall ball, teaching him to bring a snack and then wait until the right time to eat it, and showing him what it looks like to listen to a teacher. I couldn't do it without an amazing group of students to be the examples. The school is middle class economically, but very high with parental support.

About my class
