My students are very eager to learn and want to do well in school. My school is a Title I school which means that most of my students come from low income families. I have 6 English Language Learners who would benefit greatly from being exposed and reading a variety of different kinds of books. I also have 3 students who have special needs so being able to hear fluent reading would be very beneficial in helping them to become better and more fluent readers. My students love to read and love to have books read to them so I think that this would be a perfect way to do this in my classroom.
