The idea of using flexible seating is to create a more comfortable environment that helps students be their best learning selves. By offering flexible seating, such as stool seating, I will be able to meet the needs of all the different types of learners in my classroom. The specific furniture I am choosing is created for classroom use and meets health and safety standards. The stools have a base that allows the student to tilt and move without falling over while allowing the student to move. The seating will offer comfort and stability for an active learning environment while catering to all types of learners. Research has proven that the quality of students’ learning environment contributes to their academic success. I hope you will consider funding this project for the students in my classroom.
