I have the privilege of working at a K-8 charter school that is thriving in a low socioeconomic area. It a priority to support my students to succeed academically. Our school also has an arts emphasis where every grade level (K-8) participates in all four domains of the arts. These wonderful opportunities foster creative, happy students that get to learn how to express their emotions through art.
