I teach 5th grade GATE in a public elementary school. My students are inquisitive, bright and eager to learn. They are a group of question askers and information seekers, and sometimes their teacher is NOT smarter than a 5th grader! Having access to a computer, as a resource for their ever quest for knowledge, would enable them to seek and answer their curiosity of life. My students are also eager to create and dazzle me with their creativity and presentation skills. They amaze me with their ability to take a learning situation and make it come alive with their creative expertise on subject knowledge in all content areas. My students come from families who value education and encourage their children to learn and be good citizens with the resources they have available. I admire my students and their families and want to give them everything possible to enhance their educational experience.
