I teach at a local neighborhood school with students from very diverse backgrounds. We are a small school where a majority of the students receive free and reduce lunch. My students are eager learners- like sponges ready to soak up all the world has to offer. Our biggest challenge is the limited technology we have in the classroom. As a substitute teacher, I saw many classrooms functioning with the use of technology, and it really enhanced the learning experience for the students. I want my students to have the same advantages. It will ultimately push them to perform at a higher level.
