My students come from a variety of backgrounds! Being hearing and vision impaired creates multiple challenges for my Pre-K students! These materials will open a whole new language enriched exprience that they otherwise may never come in contact with! The students will be able to participate in making the food thus providing language and vocabulary. They will be asked to mix, measure, pour, taste, and of course eat the yummy treats, all while learning! These festival type materials will provide the sensory impaired students who attend Pre-K at my school with limitless language exposure. The snow cone, pop corn, and ice cream machines will be used throughout the year to provide the students with a new option of fun snacks! The extra materials will be used with the machines allowing quick access to the materials needed. The projector screen will be used throughout the year to allow both Pre-K classes to come together to watch educational videos and presentations in a large group setting. The extension cords will be used for the projector (previously purchased) and the projector screen (being requested) to be used in various locations throughout the school. Thank you for considering donating to such a fun and educational experience for the Pre-K students who attend our school!
