My group of students are very diverse, both in their learning and their backgrounds. My students have a variety of moderate learning disabilities, and respond best to a multi-sensory approach to learning. Many of my students have attention deficits and hyperactivity issues, and need a classroom that is organized, predictable, and conducive to differentiated learning stations. Our school's mission is to develop creative minds and critical thinkers who are academically proficient and skillfully prepared for success in high school and beyond. We work to achieve this by having a safe and positive learning environment that is rooted in the collaborative efforts of staff, students, parents, and community partners.
