I was born to teach and that desire runs thick in my veins. I am the Interventionist at my rural, Title I school in North Carolina. I have taught every grade from Kindergarten to 4th grade. This year I was asked to take this position due to my experience in multiple grade levels. I work with small groups from Kindergarten to 6th grade. These students need to work on specific skills in math and reading. This year I have expanded my after school activities by adding Robotics coach to my schedule since last year's coach retired. I also am a coach for my school's Science Olympiad team.
