The school I teach in is classified as a Title 1 school. All of my students qualify for free breakfast and lunch. We are one of the top 20 diverse public schools in the United States. Some of my students come from homes where English is the second language. They love coming to school everyday, eager to learn; I call them my little sponges. For most of my students this is their first time in a classroom setting.
