These options for flexible seating will benefit my students who need to MOVE in order to stay focused and learn. Our class is over an hour in length, and many students in each of my classes struggle to stay engaged that long while sitting at a desk, on the floor, or at a table. With this standing desk and these wobble cushions and bouncy bands, my students will have the power and opportunity to discover how they best concentrate and succeed in the classroom. As blossoming readers and writers, we exert so much mental energy every day improving and honing our literacy skills. Some students have to work so hard at sitting still in class that they run out of the energy needed to fully participate in our learning community. With this donation, you would take away some of that stress so that my kids could channel their energy into their education. Staying alert and focused will help my students to not only meet standards but exceed them.
