My students often have indoor recess during the winter months and on rainy days. I would love for them to have board games to play to keep them engaged and active during recess without resorting to computer games. These games would help develop their social and communication skills as they work together. My students do not have many board games at home and are often alone. Having games in our classroom will allow them to have fun and learn through playing! These games will also allow me to build relationships with my students that are sometimes not built during the regular school day.
