My goal is to expose students at the middle school level to multiple aspects of STEM. The earlier they are exposed to these skills the more time they have to grow and develop the skills before selecting a career path. Exposure to STEM will help today's youth develop into amazing problem solvers. I believe our future depends on us properly training the youth of today how to look at problems and develop effective plans to solve the issues. I want to incorporate robotics into this STEM class. Much of today's equipment, contains robotic controls within it. Learning to program and manipulate robots is a much needed skill in today's work force. I want to provide my students with multiple opportunities to develop and master this concept.
