Welcome to my classroom. I am a fourth grade teacher at Cleveland Elementary School in Clayton, North Carolina. My husband is in the Air Force and stationed at Seymour Johnson air Force Base. We have been here for a little over a year. I previously taught in Florida, where we were stationed. Teaching is my passion! I have wanted to be a teacher since I was old enough to talk. I love going to school each day and thinking of great ways to challenge my students. I am constantly looking for new ideas and techniques that will improve my impact on my students. This year, my school is beginning the IReady testing format. This is done on the computer. Each of my students must complete 45 minutes on the computer per week. I teach two blocks, which means that is 50 students at 45 minutes a piece. I have two working computers in my classroom that are usually taken by students taking AR tests and emailing our global epals.
