I love each and every one of my kiddos, even after only 3 weeks of school. Many of them are coming from less than ideal home situations. There are homeless students and there are many students living in very high levels of poverty. It is a Title One school. This means each student receives free breakfast and lunch each day. There are sometimes behaviors that are challenging to deal with on a day to day basis. However, these behaviors usually stem from a situation not happening at school. My goal for this group of kids (and my future classrooms) is to provide the most engaging, hands on, learning experiences that curb these behaviors and excite them for their days at school. Despite negativity that may try to bring my kids down, they are still 7 year olds. They make me laugh each day because they are so funny! They enjoy collaborating in groups or teams to learn. They also enjoy making smart choices to keep me happy.
