Our school is a fairly new charter school servicing students in grades 6-12. The majority of our students come from very diverse, low-socioeconomic backgrounds. Over 85% of them are on free or reduced lunch. Implementing the Arts in our school is extremely important for our students. It is a means of providing them with a positive way to express themselves in school and in the community. In an age where many of our schools are not providing programs in the Arts due to lack of funding, we are trying to encourage our students to immerse themselves in the area.

About my class
