It's imperative that my classroom is organized it a way that students know where their materials are without interfering with mine. If their materials are mixed with mine on or near my desk, it may be harder for them to decipher their boundaries. Allowing students to have their own space for their materials eliminates questions and confusion. Middle school is a good age for students to have their own space and learn boundaries. These tables will also help students have the structure that they need, especially at this age. Procedures and structure are key to their success now and later in life.
