Hello. I am fortunate to teach in the high desert community of Yucca Valley at our alternative/continuation high school. All of my students are considered at-risk, and my classroom needs extend beyond the norm. My classroom goal is to have as many hands-on activities as possible with a focus on STEM when possible. I also seek to make my students comfortable and to address their emotional needs. To accomplish this task, donations are very much appreciated. Technology and materials are always needed. This year, my students are working on project based learning activities. Every six week credit check, my students have a new focus that integrates technology, creative arts, and project based learning. Additionally, my students complete tasks related to career and college readiness with an emphasis on real-world applications. Your donations are valued and make it possible for me to offer more to my students. Thank you!
