My students started out the year reading an "I Survived" book about the American Revolution. They still talk about it today five months later. They ask me all the time if we can read another "I Survived" book and learn more about our history. It is so interesting to think about how much of our history my students do not know. I want to be able to support my students through reading about the history of the United States. My students have so many questions, and we have great discussions about what we have read.
